Entitled with “Developing Digital Economy and Promoting Digital Civilization”, the 2022 China Internet Conference (CIC), was organized by the Internet Society of China (ISC) from Nov.15-17 in Shenzhen. The opening ceremony was held on Nov.15, 2022.

Mr. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), Mr. Zheng Hongbo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and Mr. Shang Bing, President of ISC attended the opening ceremony and delivered special remarks.

Mr. Zhang Yunming pointed out that the MIIT will comprehensively learn, fully grasp and fully implement the spirit of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and will fully, accurately implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, implement the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" for the development of the digital economy and information communication industry, and let the development of the Internet industry glow with new vitality, based on the new development stage.

Mr. Shang Bing said that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the scale of China's digital economy has grown rapidly, the quality of digital economy has continued to rise to new levels, and the construction of digital civilization has made a series of achievements. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has pointed out the direction for promoting China's digital economy to achieve higher quality development and accelerating the construction of digital China.

Over 30 sub-forums will be organized in the following three days, covering topics from Internet industries, online IPR, to international cooperation, cyber security, digital governance, Internet healthy care etc.
