The Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Fifth Council of ISC Successfully held

On April 1, 2022, the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Fifth Council of the Internet Society of China was held in Beijing. Han Xia, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a remark. The meeting was chaired by Shang Bing, President of the Internet Society of China.
The meeting reviewed the 2021 Annual Work Report and Financial Report of the Internet Society of China, and passed the proposal on adding/changing new board members.
Wu Hequan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Advisory Committee of the Internet Society of China, made a special report on “Internet Facing the Transformation, Meeting Challenges and Starting Again with Innovation”. Huang Chengqing, Vice President of ISC made a special report on how ISC could play an active role in the industry under the new situation.
As the epidemic situation, a total of 227 member representatives attended the meeting in a hybrid format of online and on-site.
